Printacom Technologies is committed to South Africa and its transformation, and is the only printer vendor that currently qualifies for a level 4 Contributor rating on the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Codes of Good Conduct. 

Printacom’s status has been achieved primarily through shareholding, as MB Technologies, its holding company, is the largest privately owned black empowered IT group in South Africa.
MB Technologies BEE status was substantially bolstered in 2007 when Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH) increased its holding in MB Technologies to 55%.
The level 4 rating means that customers will obtain the benefit of 100% recognition for every R1.00 spent with Printacom.
Apart from demonstrating true black empowerment in this way, Printacom constantly strives to add value to its resellers, and has developed an approach to BEE that amongst other things encourages the development of new associations and ways in which to do business.
To this end the company believes in the development and reinvestment in its SMB resellers by providing favourable services, products, pricing, and credit terms, while embracing the development of its people, business, systems and skills through its Printacom Training academy.
Printacom is also largely involved in corporate social investment initiatives and makes donations to numerous charities and community service projects on a regular basis. A comprehensive list of these activities is available on request.
